Scenario: It's Monday morning. You have 47 unread conversations. In 15 minutes, you'll have summaries of the important ones, smart replies queued for quick responses, and AI-composed follow-ups scheduled for the afternoon.

Morning routine: Triage with AI

1. Get the daily summary

Open Daily Summary from the sidebar. AI highlights:

• New conversations that need attention
• Conversations with pending follow-ups
• Key stats: messages received, average response time

2. Summarize long threads

For conversations with 10+ unread messages:

1. Open the chat.
2. Click Summarize in the chat header.
3. Read the TL;DR — decide if it needs a response or can wait.

3. Quick-reply with Smart Replies

For routine responses:

1. Open a conversation.
2. Below the latest incoming message, see 3 suggested replies.
3. Click one to send instantly, or click to edit before sending.

Afternoon routine: Compose and schedule

4. AI Compose for thoughtful replies

For messages that need more effort:

1. Click the AI icon in the composer.
2. Choose Compose and describe your intent: "Reply politely declining the meeting but suggesting next week instead."
3. Review, tweak, and send — or schedule for later.

5. Translate before sending

When messaging multilingual contacts:

1. Write your message in your language.
2. Click Translate in the composer.
3. Choose the target language.
4. Send the translated version (original stays as a draft reference).

Token usage tips

• Each AI action consumes tokens from your monthly allowance.
• Smart Replies are the cheapest (tiny prompt).
• Summarize on very long threads uses more tokens.
• Monitor usage in Settings → Billing → Token Usage.
• Running low? Buy a token top-up pack.

Pro tips

• Chain actions: Summarize a thread, then Compose a reply based on the summary context.
• Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+A opens AI Compose in the active chat.
• Daily AI caps (Basic plan): 2 compose, 10 smart replies, 20 translations, 1 summary per day.
