A full calendar inside Spun: events with month, week and agenda views, recurring events, all-day events, reminders, and invitations sent over WhatsApp. Events can be created from scratch or straight from a message in a chat, and a chat can show its own Events section in the context panel. Each event carries an ownership label so it is always clear whether it is private to you, shared with the team, or one you were invited to. Reminders fire in the app at the offsets you choose (15 minutes before, an hour before, and so on), and all-day events remind you in the morning. A reminder can also go out on WhatsApp: to yourself, and optionally to the event's invited guests as well, up to a small cap per event, all on the same lead time. Invitations can go to WhatsApp contacts, who reply by poll to RSVP, and the invite carries a calendar attachment that opens in the phone's own calendar app; when the event has a Google Meet link, that join link travels with both the invite and any WhatsApp reminder. Google Calendar is entirely OPTIONAL: the calendar is fully functional with no Google account connected. If you do connect Google, Spun syncs both ways with a dedicated Spun calendar it creates for you, and never writes to your primary Google calendar; your primary calendar can be shown as a read-only overlay so you can see those events alongside your Spun ones. Disconnecting Google removes nothing from Spun. A new event gets one meeting link of your choosing: a Google Meet link, a Spun meeting, or no meeting link at all. A Google Meet link needs a connected Google account, and when that connection cannot create Meet links the option says so and offers to reconnect Google, with the event still saving without a link. A Spun meeting needs no Google account: guests open it from the link without an account of their own, nobody is emailed, and it uses AI tokens only from the moment someone opens it. An event that already exists can have a Spun meeting added, or an existing link replaced with one after a confirmation, and a Spun meeting is joined inside Spun rather than in a browser tab. If you change an event after invitations have gone out, the event says that some guests still have the old details and offers a "Notify guests" button; the updates then go out gradually, and Spun tells you when everyone already has the current details. The calendar can also show your alarms, your task due dates and your pending scheduled messages as layers (Show on calendar), and those layers are editable: change the time of an alarm, a task or a scheduled send right from the calendar, which updates the item itself (a scheduled send can only move to a future time). Your layer choices follow you across devices. With Google connected, two extra checkboxes under the calendar-sync switch mirror your tasks and your scheduled messages onto the same Spun calendar in Google; only the time syncs back from Google (a task is never renamed and a message's text never leaves Spun), finished items stay on the Google calendar with a Done or Sent prefix, and turning the checkboxes off deletes nothing. Connected AI apps and MCP keys can work with the shared calendar too, under dedicated calendar permissions: list events in a date range, open one event with its attendees and reminders, create events and edit non-recurring ones - private events are never visible to an AI, and calendar changes sync to Google Calendar the same way as changes made in the app.

How to use

1. Open Calendar from the sidebar.
2. Switch between Month, Week and Agenda with the view buttons; Agenda is the default on phones.
3. Click a day or + New Event to create one: title, date and time or an all-day toggle, location, description, repeat, and reminder chips.
4. Choose the meeting link for the event: Google Meet link, Spun meeting, or no meeting link.
5. To also get a reminder on WhatsApp, tick "Also send this reminder on WhatsApp" and, if you want the invited guests reminded too, tick "Remind the guests too".
6. To invite people, open the event and add attendees; org members RSVP in the app and WhatsApp contacts get a message with a poll to answer.
7. On an event that already exists, use "Add a Spun meeting" (or "Switch to a Spun meeting", which asks you to confirm before the old link is replaced), and "Join meeting" to open it.
8. If you edit an event after invitations went out, press "Notify guests" on the event to send the new details.
9. To open the chat an event came from, use the linked-chat chip.
10. To create an event from a message, use the message action menu in any chat.
11. Optional Google sync: Settings, then Google Calendar, Meet & Gmail, then turn on calendar sync.
12. To have today's events appear in your morning briefing, tick Include Calendar in the Daily Summary widget.
13. To see alarms, task due dates or scheduled messages on the calendar, open Show on calendar (the layers button) and tick them; untick Allow moving for any source you want read-only.
14. To move one of those items, use the clock icon on its chip, pick the new time and save.
15. To mirror tasks or scheduled messages into Google as well, tick the checkboxes under the calendar-sync switch in Settings, Google Calendar, Meet & Gmail.
