Momentum & Engagement Scoring
Momentum is Spun's engagement tracking system — visual health rings, streaks, and rescue alerts that show you which contacts are engaged and which are going quiet.
What Momentum tracks
Health Rings
Each contact has a visual health ring showing their engagement level:
- Full green ring — regular conversations, fast responses
- Yellow ring — engagement declining
- Red ring — contact going dark, needs attention
Visible on: Contact cards, chat list (optional), dashboard.
Streaks
Track consecutive days/weeks of communication:
- "15-day streak with Sarah" — you've been in touch daily
- Streak breaks trigger a subtle notification
- Personal best — celebrate longest streaks with contacts
Rescue Alerts
When a contact's Momentum Score drops below a threshold:
- Spun notifies you: "⚠️ Sarah's engagement dropped — last message 12 days ago"
- Suggested action: "Send a check-in?" with AI-drafted message
- One-click rescue: Send the suggested message immediately
Configuring rescue alerts
Settings → Momentum:
- Threshold — alert when score drops below X (default: 30)
- Cooldown — don't alert more than once per contact per X days
- Labels — only track contacts with specific labels (e.g., "VIP", "Active client")
Dashboard view
Sidebar → Momentum shows:
- Working Circle — your top engaged contacts right now
- At Risk — contacts whose scores are dropping
- Personal Bests — streak records and milestones
- Trend — your overall engagement trend (are you getting more or less engaged?)
How it differs from Keep In Touch
