Smart Links
Smart Links are branded short URLs (go.spun.com/your-slug) that open a WhatsApp chat with your number, optionally with a prefilled message. Track clicks, conversions, and sources.
What is a Smart Link?
Instead of sharing your raw phone number, share a clean link:

Creating a Smart Link
- Navigate: Settings → Smart Links
- Click "+ New Link"
- Configure:
- Slug — the URL path (e.g., "book-demo")
- Prefilled message — what the user sees in their composer
- Label — auto-apply a label to contacts who use this link
- Campaign link — attribute to a specific campaign
- Copy or share the generated URL
Tracking
Each Smart Link tracks:
- Click count — total and unique visitors
- Conversion — how many actually sent the message
- Source — if you add UTM parameters or referrer tracking
- Timestamp — when clicks happened (by hour/day)

Every Smart Link automatically generates a QR code:
- Download as PNG or SVG
- Print on business cards, flyers, or storefront
- Scan → opens WhatsApp directly
Auto-labeling from links
When someone clicks your link and messages you:
- Contact auto-labeled with the link's label (e.g., "Website Lead")
- You know exactly where they came from
- Use for segmentation + targeted follow-ups
