Schedule messages to be sent at a future date and time, in WhatsApp chats, in Spun Chat conversations (team DMs and groups) and in emails sent from a conversation. Great for reminders and follow-ups. When you schedule a message from a chat you can attach a meeting link: "No meeting link", "Spun meeting" or "Google Meet" (Google Meet needs a connected Google account, and "Connect Google" is offered beside it). The link is created when you schedule. The Scheduled panel updates by itself as messages go out, fail or are cancelled. If "Send scheduled messages a little late, never early" is on for the line (see Human Cadence), a scheduled WhatsApp message leaves a few minutes after its time, never before. Scheduled emails have their own banner in the email composer.
How to use
- In any chat, click the clock icon next to the send button (in a Spun Chat conversation it is in the + attach menu).
- Choose date and time.
- Write your message and confirm.
- View all scheduled messages in Sidebar → Scheduled, in the banner above the chat, or in the Scheduled section of the chat side panel. Spun Chat scheduled messages are text only and go out as you: if you leave the conversation before the send time, the message is not sent, and if your plan does not include team messaging when it comes due, the message fails with that reason (a Human Support conversation is exempt and its scheduled message reaches the ticket).
