Interface Customization

Spun's interface adapts to your preferences — choose your theme, toggle between Simple and Power mode, and customize which features appear in your sidebar.

Dark mode / Light mode

Toggle: Click the moon/sun icon at the bottom of the main sidebar.

• 🌙 Dark mode — easier on eyes at night, OLED-friendly
• ☀️ Light mode — classic bright interface
• Follows your system preference by default

Simple Mode vs Power Mode

Spun has two interface modes:

	Simple Mode	Power Mode
Target user	New users, non-technical teams	Power users, admins
Features shown	Core messaging only (~8 sidebar items)	All features (~25+ sidebar items)
AI features	Basic compose + translate	All AI tools
Setting	Settings → Interface → Mode

What's hidden in Simple Mode

Simple Mode hides advanced features to reduce overwhelm:

• Automations (Autopilot, Chat Flows, Proactive Bots)
• Developer tools (Webhooks, Extensions, API)
• Advanced AI (Knowledge Base, Coaching, Momentum)
• Admin tools (Dashboard analytics, Audit logs)

You can always switch to Power Mode from Settings → Interface.

Sidebar customization

In Power Mode, you can:

Pin/unpin features

1. Settings → Interface → Feature Visibility
2. Toggle each feature ON/OFF
3. Drag to reorder (order persists)

Language

Spun supports 28+ interface languages:

Settings → General → Interface Language

The AI features (compose, translate) work in all languages regardless of interface language.
