Post the same message to a set of WhatsApp groups again and again on a schedule, for example a daily price list or the latest open positions every two hours. A schedule lives in Master Groups under "Scheduled posts" and is managed by workspace managers.

Content - Either a fixed text, or a Google Sheet that is read fresh before every round. For a sheet you pick the tab and range, which columns to include and how each row is written, and up to five row filters (a column is, is not, contains, is empty or is not empty), so only matching rows are posted. Two options apply to text and sheets alike: "Skip a round if the content has not changed" (nothing is posted when the content is the same as last time) and an "Updated" header line with the time of each round, so members can see the post is current.

Groups - Choose the groups by label (every group carrying that label when the round starts, so groups you label later are included) or by a Master Group. The schedule posts from one WhatsApp line, and only to groups that line is in.

When - An interval of at least one hour, a daily window (for example 08:00 to 20:00) and the active days of the week. Inside a round the groups are posted one after the other with a random wait between them, 60 to 120 seconds by default (you can change it).

Limits - Every line has a daily group-post limit in Settings, Sending safety (50 posts a day by default). The editor shows how many posts a day the schedule needs, and when that is more than the limit it says so and offers three choices: a longer interval, fewer groups, or opening Sending safety to change the limit. When there are more groups than fit in one round (30 per round by default), the schedule rotates: each round takes the next groups in turn, so every group is reached over a few rounds.

Plan - Each active schedule uses one workflow slot on your plan, the same slots as digests and other workflows. Scheduled posts use no AI credit. If no slot is free a new schedule cannot be turned on (Weave saves it paused instead). When you move to a plan with fewer slots you choose which workflows keep running; the others, schedules included, are paused with their settings kept, and they resume on their own, in the order they were paused, when slots become free again.

Workflows listing - Scheduled group posts appear in the Workflows list beside digests, with their slot use and the time of the next round, and can be paused and resumed there.

Round reports - Every round leaves a report in Master Groups: how many groups were sent, which were skipped and why (for example the group is announce-only, the number was removed or the group is gone, or the window closed before the group was reached), which were left for a later round by rotation, which are unclear (the send could not be confirmed), when the round ran, and how many group posts the line has made today against its limit. A banner explains a pause: when the line disconnects mid-round it says how many groups were not sent and that they go out when the line reconnects (or are skipped if that is too late), and when the number has been removed from several groups in a day Spun pauses group automation on that line until a manager resumes it.

Weave - You can ask Weave to set up or pause a schedule, for example "post this price list to the groups labelled Customers every 2 hours from 9 to 18". Weave shows a card with the content, the groups, the timing, the spacing and the daily math, and nothing is scheduled until you press "Schedule".

How to use

  1. Open Master Groups and click "Scheduled posts", then "New scheduled post".
  2. Pick the content: type the text, or choose a Google Sheet, its range, the columns and any row filters; tick "Skip a round if the content has not changed" and the "Updated" header if you want them.
  3. Pick the line and the groups, by label or by Master Group.
  4. Set the interval, the daily window, the active days and the spacing between groups.
  5. If the editor warns that the schedule needs more posts a day than the line allows, choose a longer interval, fewer groups, or open Sending safety.
  6. Save. The schedule list shows the next round, and each schedule shows its round reports.
  7. Pause or resume a schedule from Master Groups or from the Workflows list.
  8. Or ask Weave, for example "post the weekly menu to the groups labelled Branches every day at 10", and press "Schedule" on the card it shows.
